If you are looking for a website where children can interact, I have a great website for you. At the website KidLink, children are able to communicate with other children. The neat thing about that is, there are children from the United States as well as from other places in the world. The site is also written in more than one language with just a click of a button. Have fun and enjoy!

I look forward to seeing the tulips grow in our yard this coming spring. This past fall was the first time that my daughters and I planted the tulip bulbs.

Fun Times with Interactive Board

After viewing the site Top Marks, I really like the great ideas there are for teaching Math, Literacy, Science and other subjects using the Interwrite Board. Because the focus is math and literacy, I found these two to be the most helpful. I also like the fact that it begins with the foundation level, which is pre-kindergarten.

It's Something Special About SNOW!

When it snowed, this teacher did something very special for her students. She showed them Things They Can Do in The Winter. She let them play in it! They made snowballs, a snowman and snow angels (remember them?). Not only did they play, but she made a video. Now they have the enjoyment of watching themselves on T.V. : ) I am sure they will enjoy that. I like the fact that she used this time for a "teachable moment" and not only do the children get to watch the video, but the parents can also enjoy watching their children have a great time in the SNOW!

I Needed a Good Laugh

After reading She walked in like a vision blown by the wind.... I received my laugh for the day. One of my favorite saying is "Live, Love and Laugh". So after reading this, I felt pretty good from my laughter. The question at the end of the blog asked "Does it sound a little Soap Operaish?" I thought to myself, yes it does and I love it. I think it is cute to watch the reaction of students when there is a change in their classroom.
